Your Psychiatric Nurse Practioner
Claire (she/her) is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who began her practice in 2020. With a strong commitment to collaborative mental health care, Claire has worked across various settings, including community mental health, substance use treatment, and private practice, developing a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs of individuals struggling with mental health. Claire has areas of interest and training in: education and treatment following a first episode of mania or psychosis, severe and persistent mental illness (including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia), along with mental health diagnoses among transitional aged youth (18-25yo). In addition, Claire treats individuals 18 and over with depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, and personality disorders.
Claire encourages patients to be active participants in their mental health treatment and views her role as a partner in treatment. She strives to help individuals become advocates for their mental health and physical health care.

Psychiatric Assessments
Sandstone Mental Health offers psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and treatment including medication therapy and psychotherapy.
Conditions Treated
Depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Assessment for Family and Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA), short and long- term disability (for employment), and/or work/school accommodations will be performed on a case by case basis. Assessments for these requests will be considered after a minimum of three provider appointments.
Please Note:
Due to state regulations, stimulants (such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Concerta) are not able to be prescribed.

Directions & Parking
The building is located on 3rd Ave between Grandview Ave and Broadview Ave. There is a surface parking lot on three sides of the building. Parking is free before 5pm. Accessible entrances are located on either side of the building (via the side parking lots). Accessible restrooms are in the first-floor lobby area.
If you’re covered by Medicaid – transportation assistance may be available.
The suite is located on the second floor accessible by stairs and elevator. At the top of the main stairs there is glass door to the left that provides access to 200-letter suites.
